Hi Vince! We've spoken before on the BB forums. Nice to see you over here.

Open beta sounds good and bad. I think I quite like RUSEs double-beta with a closed beta to sort out major niggles before the public saw them. The problem with showing the public the beta is if there are any glaring balance issues it can put people off the game before they've even bought it. People often don't realise that these balance issues are exactly the sort of thing the beta is there to fix.

That said, I'm looking forward to it! Looks like an interesting game.

I think the same. Maybe just put an information screen saying "This is a beta, they may be balances and bug issues, please report them" every time you start the game can be a good point.

Regarding beta, we'll try to make sure evryone understands the circumstances: this is a beta version, it is done to test the game, etc.

Hopefully everyone will be aware of that p.
