Maybe it´s about 1750 m range of NATO miniguns mounted on helis and lower range of PACT helis with bigger guns.

Effective range of the M134 IRL is about 1,000 meters. Effective range of the 2A42 IRL is 1,500 for light armor targets and 2,500 meters for soft-skinned targets. The GSh-30-2K likely has similar range, if not slightly better. The M230 has a maximum range of 4,500 meters (though less for armored targets).

Yeah. I tested it against both vehicles and infantry and against the former it's a little worse than a normal HMG, against the latter significantly so. Which is funny when it's considered an upgrade on some vehicles. I feel it might actually do a bit more damage per shot since I don't think it's as bad as its fire rate would imply but it's still worse than other HMGs.

The AP value is not an accurate DPS indicator for burst weapon. AP1 is there to prevent autocanons from engaging targets with more than 1 armor then they deal different amount of damage and suppression.

I think what you are asking for (20mm<25mm<30mm) is already implemented ....

Ask a friend, make a 1v1 and face units one by one multiple times him(he?) being the target and you the shooter, take notes, try to find the equation (long and boring work)
