In normal game - definitly not happening.
In some casual games with friends... that still would be hard as money-income is not that big. And artillery eats a lot of supplies in form of ammunition, too.

I once started a game on my own with 6000 starting points and bought only mortar carriers at 20 pts a pop. 300 mortars had an impressive effect but I would hardly consider it to be a viable strategy.

It'll be possible in W:EE just as it was possible in RUSE. If two players make a game and chose not to fight then the resources are pretty much infinite.

I never ask for a game to be realistic, but I DO ask for a game to be believable, and 500 artillery pieces stacked upon one another is certainly not believable.

It's just as Tigga said; that sort of thing would never happen in R.U.S.E in a competitive match. It only happens when someone plays an easy AI (as in one of those vids), or if your opponent is willing to let you do it.

In Wargame it will be exactly the same. Artillery is quite expensive and it won't be possible to buy anywhere near that number in a normal game. But if somebody really wants to do it they'll be able to set up a match that will let them. If you don't like it you won't ever have to see it.

Yes, did not ever seeing that on ruse in-game.

In wargame, at the time of the beta, it was "possible", but really not a viable strategy and, if I recall well, no the unit doesn't stack themself.

In a normal RUSE game , stacking can be countered with bombers in most cases.

I made like 100 Gaubitsa 203mm once in RUSE that were under radio silence, the map was something called like "Gravity Center", 3vs3. Both sides had like 50 admin buildings built and no one dared to attack because each side had a massive army. I fired them somewhere and almost all of them was destroyed because enemy counter-batteried. Damn.

That was in some Public match.
