Soviet / Russian army in Red Dragon
Re: Soviet / Russian army in Red Dragon
It would be silly to stuff a 10 man VDV squad into a BMD so I propose the creation of a 5 man super VDV squad that has recon abilities

Devs sort-of don't care about carrying capacity. See LAV-25/M998 with 15 Marines in them, or the ability to stuff 10 men in an FV103. If it fits about 4, its good.
"The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everybody else, and nobody was going to bomb them [. . .] They sowed the wind, and now, they are going to reap the whirlwind."
Re: Soviet / Russian army in Red Dragon
I know; we are sort of hitting the limitations of the 1 transport 1 squad rule with the most extreme 15 marines in a Humvee but I hope that would result in creative work around rather than than I feel to be rigid sticking to the rules

SU- 33 - a fighter with missiles R -73 and R-27 , but the latter is greater than 2 units ( on the Su-27 was suspended 10 missiles of all, on the SU- 33 12). ! If the equipment will be the suspension, then the second option do with bombs and missiles R-73 , or instead of bombs Nara. !Spoiler : :
I really appreciate that. Maybe an atgm or asm armament would be nice aswell, soviet marine decks lack in air support in ALB in my opinion.
MiG -29KSpoiler : :
I would like to see the MiG -29K as an availability 2 air supperiority fighter, maybe similar to the E-German MiG-29 or the Czech MiG-21, low Price (about 110-120, 2 or 4 R-73A and 2 R-27R, speed, ecm and other stats like other MiG-29s) as an alternative to the quite expensive the Su-27. Maybe Prototype.

The 15 Marines in an LAV-25 and the 10 HAERJEIERWMVERNTS in the M6 Mosething would like a word with you.
If there's two kinds of players, those that like challenges and those that want a fair game, pubstomps should make everyone happy.

Ok so for the highest end soviet MBT we can either have:
object 187
object 292
The T-80UM won't be really to the level. Since NATO will be getting even more helos and aircraft that are a lot more powqerful than any 1991 standard OPFOR nation why cant the USSR still get the best MBT?

Initial Su-33 had absolutely no PGM capability, limited only to dumb bombs and rockets. There has been some push to update them to Su-33M standard with PGM capability, but I don't know how far this has actually come along.

Yeah well aircraft, aircraft loadouts in Wargame have not been accurate allwaysI think a loadout with dumb bombs would not bring the game anything new. And with the Su-33 classified as a naval fighter, anti-ship missles don´t seam to far from reality for me. I would just like to see this plane in RD because it looks even more awsome then the original Flanker
I think the Su-33 can fire anti ship missiles, but I'm not sure.
