It would be nice, but I'm afraid it can't be added. Shame, would be such an interesting aircraft.

That's really the first I'm hearing of a plane like that. But I'm green in the air force area... Any of our resident aviation experts around ? *stares at Vasto*

Personally I would prefer good loadout on our planes - Su-22 mostly and maybe Iskra/Iryda as support then such prototype. Skorpion was just a light support airplane so it couldn't be anything like Thunderolt - it was twice smaller then A-10.

Here some links in polish about it:

What is interesting most of sources about this plane are rather not too good one to base decisions on :)

Unfortunately the PZL Skorpion would be simply another Chimera as it never went out of design stages which resulted only in building wooden mockup. Honestly I'm not very familiar with its initial story, but later project assumed inclusion of many western components.

If Poland really need to utilize one its indigenously designed aircrafts, most viable option would be the PZL I-22 Iryda In which great hopes were placed. So great, that Poland even resigned from buying Su-25s...

Actually, while it does sounds bad in Wargame terms, there was good reasoning for that IRL. Main one that it would be horrendously expensive for Poland to get them, another that for a comparable cost of one Su-25, we could get more Iryda's that would be able to carry far more ordinance than a single Su-25. On top of that, assuming the losses to enemy ADN, it was far more cost effective for us to throw Iryda's than Su-25's at the target. However, then WP went out of style.

If I can set my opinion here I'm definately againts PZL-230 Skorpion - only wooden model was made as the stage of this project, this never flies.

For us Polish should be more concern to get I-22 Iryda which was flying at least ;) or TS-11 Iskra which is in duty until now. Of course both of this planes are not some hardcore killers (more they are support planes) ... but I still belive we will get MiG-29 which historically we had and we have until now !
