Not so sure it is true in "standard on nation, latest state of the art" though. Do you confirm?
Maybe I missed it, but nobody complained about truck removal. Was it planned? Are they completly removed? (except... exceptions)
I guess it is realistic in modern armies, and I think it is good, what is the result ingame?
If you chose a 1986+ deck with any nation right now in the beta, you receive no additional units. If you further specialize the deck (Armored, Mechanized, Support ect) you get additional unit slots to fill. In a non specialized deck you can only get 5 units per category (Logistics, Support Infantry, Vehicle, Tanks, Recon, Helicopter, Aircraft, Naval), but a specialized deck opens up all the deck slots you would have in ALB in a category. I.E. A mechanized deck allows you to take the full number of Infantry and Vehicles, where a Support Deck would give you the ability to fill up the whole number of Support and Logistics category. In addition, picking a specialist deck increases veterency and reduces the activation point cost within their specialist category to a minimum of 1 point, and the last 4 slots in a category that is unlocked by a deck specialty are only 1 point.
The only way currently to get more units per card is to take a specific nation, which will give +x% modifier, the percentage has not yet been determined and is currently 1% which does nothing.
Truck reduction was planned. There are 2 cards of transport trucks available to transport infantry (including command and recce infantry) and they cost 5pts each.
