If the Beta runs like the Beta in ALB, you will be able to play the navy part in 1-2 weeks after the release. Steady patching and improvements incoming :)

Tomorow is a good day to die!

I think your decision to "rework" the naval part and lot let us test it in the first open beta was a really good decision.
Sure, the naval warfare is a big deal but not rly my must have feature in RD. I just hope you guys will make the game as good or even better as ALB, I trust you ;)

You are a noble soul indeed and I thank you for your most generous offer but it wouldn't sit right with me burdening another player, like momma always said "never a borrower nor a lender be"

I will dip into my meager funds today to ensure I don't miss out on the deal or the Beta. I feel like I have an obligation at this point given the grief I have caused Eugen over the course of ALB

Will the host have a Lobbyoption to disable the Naval Part in the final game?

Or will this have to be handled by map selection?

No, there is no option disabling the naval part ... but of course playing a map without any naval coastline.

Thank you for the information.

Would implementation of such a option be possible during the games life cycle? Should it be required, of course.

The 25% discount offer for ALB owners does not end with the beta release, correct?

No worries, it'd have been with an evil twist kind of deal.
Like, you'd have to stop talking about anything commonwealth related for a month.
I kid, I kid. I know you'd never be able to do that. ;)

According to the Steam store page:

"Pre-Purchase Wargame: Red Dragon
25% Discount On Prepurchase For All Owners Of Wargame: Airland Battle
SPECIAL PROMOTION! Offer ends April 17th"
"Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all other countries because you were born in it." - George Bernard Shaw
