They haven't implemented many (ANY??) good ideas that have been suggested since EE came out. I don't see that suddenly changing.

Hey dudes, with current DLC release, I thought it was time to bump my old thread! We have had Infantry, Tanks, Planes and Helicopters fully worked over, so the Recon section could do with it too!

We have had a few little tweaks here and there to Recon, and infantry loadouts within them. But the main points still stand.

1. Rebalance existing Recon units to have a unique role
2. Utilize redundant and ineffective options, particularly Recon vehicles.
3. Balance Recon infantry with Infantry section

We can do this by a very simple re-working of the units that currently exist within the RECON section, primarily the infantry. The best thing is this will require NO new units or models!

If we can at least have 5 man Shock recon buffed to 10 man i'll consider it a win. Recon doesn't get talked about over much, but it could be made even more useful beyond the few truly useful units.

I see a distinct lack of glorious T-55 recon tank in your line-up?

Ah, yes apologies Comrade, that is because I had done my list before that tweak to our Recon decks :)

I think I need to stir up some sort of controversy so people will respond more to my thread.

I think the Patriot is underpowered! The T90 for North Korea fits the timeline and is excellent! Panzergrenadiers are too weak! Price reduction.

There we go :D

Just revisited this. Still the coolest idea I've ever seen.

why not let Recon take ATGM jeeps as transport then ?

that's bound to kick up some controversy for you!

Because such an idea is so retarded it needs to be educated seperately.

This needs to be done, for great justice.

I think I've already +1'd it, so... +2?

Thanks guys :D Actually if the Norks got there Recon buggy with the Grenade Launcher and the Fagot ATGM then we would have a recon unit with a ATGM launcher! Gasp! Although it's such a weird loadout in Wargame. Fun though.

The M21 came to us through the power of crude MS-Paint editing (even though I am a Graphic Designer by trade, can't deny the speed of MS-Paint!)
