The ones which were originally recon vehicles yes (at least my understanding)
certain others not

So the BTR-40, for example, gains the ability to transport a recon squad whilst also retaining its own (good) optics or does it loose it's optics?

btr-40a should loose its optics like if im not mistaken v-150 lost its. Btw BTR-40A's gun is highly underrated, its amazing for hunting on light cv's and command teams.

you're not. I was really hoping it'd keep the optics to make Delta cool.

The 40A's ZPTU is pretty great, excellent short-range anti-helo too.

Well that would have to be a case for balancing I think. I think we can do it depending on armamant, say a vehicle with the ZPTU guns has no recon optics, whilst a unarmed UAZ has good ones.

The recon transport vehicles maybe just all have the minimum level optics representing that they all have a radio of some sort and the recon squad can communicate with them to HQ or whatever.

Or if that proves unbalanced just say no optics on the recon vehicle transports since the squad is carrying them. Either way I don't think it would be too bad.

Are there any marshals into this idea?

as if there can be actually any arguments against this
There's a ton of topics related to balance or change in mechanics where it can be argued either way, this one doesn't belong to that group

There are some of us that like this idea, but we are not the ones who decide what to add or change... I personally would like something like this

+1000

Plw do this Eugen, as so many vehicles are simply never ever used because of the too many recon troops available.

Well that's a plus. Good to see there's still some interest in it. Whether or not it happens.... *shrugs*
