So with this re-work, ALL special forces units would get moved to the recon category? Or would there still be some in the infantry tab to function as assault SOF kind of like Delta tries to do now?

I hadn't thought of it when I came up with the orginal concept, and added it later. If it was up to me I would add all the Special Forces to the recon tab. SAS, Delta, etc. makes motorised tastier to use as well.

However units like Royal Marines, Paratroopers, would stay in the Infantry tab.

I see. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this.

I like this idea, particularly getting some of the half dozen to a dozen or so obsolete and unused reccy vehicles used. It's also always nice to get one of those cards of regular transports freed up for the line units.

Really enjoy the OP's suggestion about shifting recon vehicles around as new transports. Would like to see it implemented.

Little worried about how he wants to re-implement infantry. I think special forces (due to their utter effectiveness) should stay in the INF section with a full selection of transports. Re-situating combat recon / observers / snipers / militia recon that are already in the recon section is fine however.

I also would like to add recon squads with ATGM, currently there are none.
Also recon squads with RRs, although they might be too OP :D

How does this work in view of Era and Specialisation decks?

No criticism but it seems to be solely aimed at Cat A generic decks.

As far as the Anzac additions are concerned, as I've said on other threads, it ignores that 'cavalry recon' is already in the game for the Anzac decks (being the lower capability tracked recon vehicles). I dislike saying it again, but there was no such unit organisation as 'lancers'. There were and are several units such as the Hunter River Lancers, but the role is the same as any other tracked cav unit, being a generic cav role - you could include them purely for traffic control at intersections, and that would be just as valid a role as scouting.
A Firefly killed Wittman...

It's a 17lbr, not a 76.2mm.

I like it , but SF recon is really low avail. no one really wants to risk them to fight other infantry

Think you have what it takes to enlist into the military? You sure about that?
