Campaign feedbacks

Postby Die Wehrmacht » Thu 17 Apr 2014 20:05

Hello again guys, quick question are you enjoying the campaign?

I myself am not a big fan of it. Played one match and felt like quiting instantly. I played that 1979 China vs. USSR campaign and my first match I brought like 20 tanks and the A.I knew exactly what I brought and spammed the hell out of atgms. It used no air support at all even though it had air support, and my deck consisted of 2 bofor aas.

Campaign so far for me is a thumbs down. How about you guys?

If I was Eugen, I would scrap their campaign they've had since ALB because a lot of people don't seem to like it very much, and perhaps make a new type of campaign or do the old story driven EE campaign.

>20 tanks

Sorry, l2p.

I like it so far.
At least the AI doesn't immediately destroy your everything.

Play the first campaign, get good, play the rest.

I suggest someone actually beats the campaign before they whine.

I did not like the ALB campaign, and have no high hopes for RD, so I guess that I may be a bit soft on it, but to now it has not been nerve wracking or anything.

I love the narrator, I was really excited then played, noticed the 20 min timer, was forced to rush or lose, quit after the first match, probably will never return.

It's slightly better than ALB's campaign, but not quite enjoyable, no.

These campaigns are MUCH better than the ALB campaigns. They're more enjoyable and more compelling. However the AI does seem to be slightly lacking still. It just seems to be rushing me with 10x as many units as it should actually have. I win before it matters, but it's a bit questionable.

The AI's cheating by being able to see all your units all the time, rather than being forced to rely on recon like us, is one of the causes of the frustrating actions it takes.

Wow, that timer sounds lame. I hate being rushed.
