I was very happy that I didn't have to play against mixed cheese decks anymore if I didn't feel like it. Unfortunately almost nobody plays 1v1 in lobbies and also people outside of ranked are usually bad/
Now let me first say that there is nothing intrinsically "wrong" with mixed decks. The fact is though, that humans will always search for the "optimal strategy" which means whatever allows you to win most easily.
Anyway I don't want to make a very long and elaborate case as to why mixed decks are less fun to play against. I don't think it is too much to ask to allow players to at least set the nation or coalition restriction in ranked.

That's quite a neutral tone

Apologies, but thats my opinion on ranked in general.

To be fair, mixed decks are very rare in RD compared to ALB. The cheesiest decks right now are not mixed IMO, but stuff like Support or EC Airborne.

Mixed pact is where the fun is.

ranked is about winning, people should get to play with whatever gives them the best shot to do so

Top 2 decks at the moment seem to be non-modified coalition decks, with mixed decks behind them if we're placing emphasis on the overall absolute performance in places that matter (aa, infantry, tanks and such) rather than flashy ultra expensive stuff like fighters or helis that rarely decide games

Some like it, some don't. However it offers a great place to get data on balance as well as bettering onself as a player.
Limiting it to certain selections (nations, coalitions) only would probably hurt the variety of decks seen in the game rather than increasing it, as some decks are much better at playing against certain decks than others. To me it sounds like taking the rock away from the game and expecting people to play paper against your scissors

Why would anyone still play mixed? I see no reason ever taking a mixed deck over something like Red/Blue Dragons or Eurocorps.

Re: Please allow deck restrictions on ranked
I'm no ranked player hater or anything, I don't believe in crap like "cheesefests", if I lose it's because my opponent(s) were better than me.
So I'm going to ask the top tier players, what is considered to be the best decks atm? I'm guessing Eurocorps at the top.
