Seriously??
you are the first one to call the su27s a problem
its mraam is sa, the chances are to hit your, lets say f15c is much lower than you firing your fandf mraam
yes, it has better range, but firing one at time means low chance of hitting anything

True AMRAAM may be fire and forget which allow my fighter to turn back before being detected and shoot back by enemy fighters but Flanker also have exceptional air detection. It's absolutely impossible to sneak and launch AIM-120 without being shoot first with the Alamo.
For now the best I can came up with is using Rafale which have a medium stealth, making it easier to get closer to the Flanker and launch AIM, otherwise it is very difficult to archive Air Superiority without heavy reliance on SAM. And now that F- 14 and its Phoenix missiles are gone, Fighting Flanker is harder than ever for the NATO!
Any suggestions?
Um Suck it up princess????
Spend the dollars and deck slots, take 2 cards of super fighter (you are a mixed deck or euorcopr arent you!!!!) then you can take that su 2 v 4 Nato super fighters and you will most of the time waste em both without loss and own the air war.
Seriously, I dont get what you want? You want "suggestions" on how to beat the Reds best fighter plane one on one without loss? If you could do that the Reds would be pretty wouldnt they?
RD is really new and hasnt quite got the "leetness" in most players yet. If you want to be a real 'hardman' then you should be taking two cards of fighters to lock down the air war.
Alternatively you could take a spam card of F4s or Crusaders etc plus a super figheter
Or just not play the enemeis game and put up sams to wreck em
Or just put up F4s or Crusaders to take out the heli land grab at the start and damn the losses
Lots of tactics just pick one
But what you cant do is dominate the enemeies best fighter without loss!

What normally works pretty well against high-end Soviet ASF is a Squadron of 2 ASFs, preferably with AA cover too, or if not at least avoid the enemy's aa umbrella. These 2 ASFs could both be high end or one could be low end and the other high end, like Tornado F1 and Eurofighter, with the F1 leading the way and taking the hits + dealing some damage out if it can, and the EF following up with its accurate, hard-hitting weapons.

Hmm, so you were calling Su-27PUs unstoppable? Have you ever compared Rafales and Su-27PUs? If you have eyes that everybody else had, this picture shall explain everything.
But the Su-27PU has that 2800m range on ground targets obviously making it OP and needing to be increased to 250 points. How dare you even say France is strong, the Rafale should obviously be cheaper with higher avail because it needs some added flavour.
haha mate I got what you meant lol, this is a French-made game so that's cool :3

Thanks!
I don't really like air spam tactic, control more than one fighter at the time is really difficult for me. And no, if you AMRAAM is superbly effective may be you haven't use it enough. In a head on fight I found not a single combat when AMRAAM equipped ASF beat a Flanker+Alamo combo.
And the reason I asked this is because in Airborne deck, the Blue force will almost have zero AAA and SAM assets, that's mean ASF is to only way to cover my air space. And if the best NATO fighter can't even beat an upper end Red ASF then what I am suppose to do? Isn't the blue suppose to have some edge in air unit?

over 100 games, about 50/50 split between redfor and blufor, and I think the AMRAAM is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the R-27.

use the absurdly OP stingers. In conjunction with F15C and F16C Block 52 it's great.
To be honest, there's a good reason why people fear Yak-141s and Su-27PU way more than the Su-27S. It's because they're armed with the soviet analogue of the AMRAAM.
NEXT TIME I SEE A DAMN FLAMEWAR INVOLVING DARTH-LAMPSHADE, FROSTPOOKY, LONERIFLE, FADE2GRAY, TROTSKYGRAD AND/OR ANYONE INVOLVED IN A DISCUSSION BETWEEN THEM I'M GOING TO HAND OUT BANS TO ANYONE USING ANYTHING LOOKING REMOTELY LIKE AN AD-HOMINEM

The 2800 meter gun on the SU-27's actually is pretty good at murdering unsuspecting light vehicles and infantry. . .
