AS many others in this thread before me have mentioned, I think all ground unit autonomies can be increased by 50% across the board, nothing else required really.

I enjoy the fuel mechanic. I also think helo's should use 1 fuel every 5 seconds when hovering also, make people use the "Land" button!

Centurions may use a lot of fuel, but being unable to even pass the center on "strait to the point" without using two trucks worth of supplies makes them fairly pointless, please think of the Centurions!

it's a repeat of the ALB beta where they did not have the ability to leave the initial spawn, only now there's not enough supply trucks to support them when every 4 tank group needs two trucks shadowing their every move, moving up to echo/foxtrot leaves them with 100-300 units of fuel left when using the roads, the real thing could manage about 400 km on roads and had utterly abysmal fuel consumption off road.

(this is from your initial spawn, the "side" spawns leave them with a wooping 600 units, almost enough to make it across the bridges!)

I've never ever had problems with fuel.

And it comes from someone who likes to use the Su-100 :?
Though I have played a fair amount of games of NATO aswell (who have worse Autonomy) and I do feel the fuel hit, especially on nations like Japan.
I feel like Japan has really strong units, and the low fuel autonomy simply helps balancing them out on a large scale (which IMO is better than lowering damage or accuracy)

Units like the SU-100 only drive 200 km aswell, yes they can't get very, but it's just something I've learnt to deal with. A truck right behind them and that's that.
Though to be fair I only play 2v2 and 3v3. I'm not sure if this 'front line' is much bigger in 4v4.

Also as a bonus addition.
NATO gets to rush with helicopters. A low autonomy keeps them from rushing hordes of tanks to the "frontline" before Pact has even had a chance to react. (My little pro-pact rant there)

What for tanks, we all should remember that tanks in reality consumes a lot of fuel, even circa 100-200 l / 100 km.

And as one of collegues before wrote, heli which is "hanging" should consume MORE fuel as it is in real. Heli which is flying forward is consuming less that in hanging.

I like fuel it adds a strategic layer to the game. Why have ammo then?

Claiming someone doesn't know how to play just because he has a different opinion from yours is just plain sad and is hardly an argument that adds anything to the discussion.

The way I see it, very low autonomy creates an unnecessary burden that adds very very little to the game experience, its not a matter of planning ahead or not, its a matter of being annoying. Removing fuel? Not really necessary. Increasing autonomy by 100%? Perfect.
"I suck at Wargame" or "I have to wait 30 minutes to pubstomp people" are not solid arguments to criticize the game... just saying.

All the derails into why have ammo is straw man, so just stop. Ammo capacity in most cases in not completely arbitrary. When you fire a tank shell or missile, your unit doesn't for some reason consume 4 missiles or shells. Yet when you have a listed range of 200km but can only go 20km, then there is a problem.

Tank burns 100L+ of fuel? Good thing most tanks have 500L+ fuel tank to begin with. And in Wargame they don't burn 100L for 100km of drive, they burn 100L for 2km.

Give across the board autonomy increase? Then it becomes a pointless mechanic as nothing would run out of fuel , so why even include it? Everyone will just turn off fuel resupply option (except the noobs).

Whole supply system is terrible to begin with, there is not enough supply trucks per card, so if you ever played 1-2h long game, you'll have a lot vehicles without fuel/ammunition. (Low supplies are probably response for artillery , but they should solve it differently)
Only units that got unlimited resupply are airplanes (which is funny how those supplies are most expensive).
I believe that both autonomy and total supplies should be increased.

If realism is your goal, you're looking in the wrong place. This entire game is an abstraction of reality, thus allowing it to be balanced for... wait for it.... gameplay reasons. We ALL agree that some of the units in this game have insanely low autonomy for no reason, but to say that fuel shouldn't be in the game at all because of this? That's just your opinion.

Well i like having fuel in the game so it's all good, i think you should find a different game to play because fuel is not going to be removed because you can't be bothered to micro your supply. This is one of the few games which have this mechanic and i think it makes the game a lot more interesting.

Damn lazy players who just want to spam shit loads of units and call that fun.....Meh

I always hated micromanagement in games. If I wanted to click like hell, I would play Starcraft.
Don't be a douchebag, what do you care if someone is playing lazy.
Playing games is for fun, not to impress you.

I don't understand why you play this game then if you don't like micro and the reason i don't like lazy players is because they are always the ones who end up rage quitting and spoiling my game.
