A few trucks will be useless for coastal defense.

Assume 1 cruiser is coming down on you, say a perry, escorted by 1-2 CIWS ships - 200-250 pts.

You will need a volley of at least 6 missiles so that 1 can get through, maybe. better to have a volley of 8.

That means at least 8 trucks. A truck will be roughly 30-35 pts, So thats what, 250-300 pts sunk into static defense? Plus supply? And if trucks miss, thats it game over due to I bet long reload times?

Thanks i pass. I will deal with ships using other ships thanks.

The problem is, and has always been, that ships are just too cheap. You have too many boats of all sizes in a fleet.



I agree, but with a price buff, I'd expect an ability buff. They should make the big time ships able to engage multiple targets ( planes, ASMs ) simultaneously and anything else that could make them awesome with a price higher than 500.

It's pretty obvious they're going to be useless and noone will use them. It's just another instance where Eugen listens to a certain section of the community that doesn't know what the hell they're talking about.

What will prevent the trucks from being able to launch all their missiles in short order? Then you will only need 2 trucks for an 8 missile barrage.

People would have to actually choose what they buy to make it tactical.
Currently they just buy everything and have no real weak spots.

This is an income problem.

Honestly I loved the old 3-4 T-80Us AND two cards of them Hell you can have two cards of M1A1 and M1A1(HA) I think that was an awesome set up for balance.
