When are the ships going to be fleshed out?

Postby Destraex » Mon 21 Jul 2014 13:06

We still do not have navies that reflect factions. When are these going to be fixed?

Can we also have all the wargame air land maps? Air land still seems to have more content and is more fun to play.
It has more stuff while having less. Red Dragon is too click fest.

probably never considering that ship models take substantially more effort to model and make functional than regular units.

Biggest cock-up Eugen's made, ships.
A brilliant plan from the dirtiest euro-hippie: get US players to pay me for a game that I then show them how much their military sucks so I can feel better about being a communist.

I just wish navy tab would be separated into navy and marine.

So what's the biggest problem with ships until now?
"Where is my T-80UK CV with top mounted BUK-M1?"

Discussed to death, but hey.

-Ship on ship combat is boring and spammy. There are no real tactics with ship-ship combat.
-Ships don't work in the same scale as the rest of the game. Having capital ships hovering off the coast blasting at tanks is ridiculous.
-Ships are just generally boring to use.
-There aren't enough ships to justify its inclusion in the game. It's like ALB only having 20 aircraft, and no national air forces.

Personally the biggest selling point for me was ships. Otherwise air land has more going for it.
I still enjoy deploying navy ships and amphibious even just to look at them.

I would like what I was lead to believe would be in the game. Sides with proper navies for each faction.

If they have to make the maps bigger - more water - they should do that.
