Can't add Burantino to deck.

Hey,

Just noticed that you cannot seem to add the Burantino to any deck. I was making a soviet support deck (no era restriction), only to find the Burantino doesn't appear in the list. As far as I can tell from the armoury it should.

So, broken? I did a quick search but it's possible this has already been brought up in one of the many threads regarding the new DLC.

I could find it just fine. Keep in mind it's under Vehicles not Support.

Because it's more a short range fire support vehicle than a long range artillery/support asset I guess.

It was move to vehicle in ALB because people felt it was under performing. Why it's still in vehicle when it's a game changer asset now is beyond me.

It should be put back into the Support tab.

The fact is that Buritino behaves like an artillery piece, whereas the AVRE units behave more like tanks that fire arty shells. It is my opinion that AVRE stay put...or if moved, moved to tank section and that Buritino is moved back to support section. Otherwise one could argue that Chinese PHL flame arty units should be in vehicle section...and that's just silly! :lol: Thoughts?

Buratino still has the 10HE plus napalm, it evicerates large areas, and what ever does not die in the inital barrage get cooked and dies anyway. To leave it in the vehicle section makes no sense. It's a powerful tide changing weapon system that should be returned to the Support Tab. It does not have a direct fire setting, what other items in the vehicle tab have that? AVRE and CEV had their indirect fire modes stripped even before they were move to the Vehicle tab. Redfor mixed decks should be forced to decide whether to take the mid range flame artilley or the short range heavily armored with high HE Buratino. They should not be rewarded with both.
