Accuracy is perfectly normal, this tank is not assisted by computer, and had a non mastered 120 mm canon for the time.

As it stands the only thing the baseline T-80 is good at is fighting in city blocks and through forests.

...which is exactly what the T-72 does, at half the cost. It needs a rework.

Exactly, a price cut at minimum.

t80 could use an accuracy buff...
Its just atrocious for its points.

Compare it to base leo2 tank. Not the same price, but really really close.

Well as mentioned, because it has a stock T-64A turret with its fire control it will have to stay at 30/20 ACC/STAB. So the only way to balance it is a price cut to ~60 pts as at 70 it hideously overblown. It surpasses a T-72A in pen but looses in ACC horribly. Due to that I think it makes sense to keep their price the same/close so one can choose accuracy or pen power

Leos: around 35% acc
Chieftain MK.2: 40% acc (in game balance due to low range and speed we can suppose)
M60:35% acc
Amx-30 40% (authentically accurate Heat munitions)
Centurions: around 30%
STRB 102: 25%
M48: 35%

It feels completely normal. Remember he has an autoloader for its price and changing it would bring trouble to the other choices you have, creating uninteresting doublons.

This is a good post.

IMO the T-64A is a T-72 Ural with a better autoloader - and in my books that's worth 10 points. Get them in an armored deck at Elite level and use them in pairs just like one would use vanilla T-72.

The T-80 is at the moment completely redundant, and could use some love.

The T-80 hasn't been worth its cost since tanks got 2100m in EE.

It was a really good gun tank for a while in ALB. 2275m range with respectable armor, AP, stabs, speed, and autonomy. It might still be, i'm not sure. It has definitely been left behind in RD though.

ITs not.
Flat out its bad. On paper and in action.

T80 (base) stats are a joke for its price.
How many do you see fielded? none. Why? its pretty self explanatory (this is literally all it takes to see which unit is doing badly.its usage,no1 ever uses it. its just like shooting yourself in the leg with a gun.)
