V-22 Osprey

Postby BigLou101 » Thu 28 Aug 2014 10:18

Can we get the V-22 Osprey in the game. It falls within the timeframe and I think it would be a great addition.

The V-22 has no place ingame, but only in our hearts.

Only if it suffers from random critical hits and falls out of the sky when it switches from turboprop to helicopter. And even if it does land successfully, 80% of the squad should die due to the aircraft randomly setting on fire.

The V-22 has almost killed as many Marines as the First Battle of Fallujah.

Come on. There have to be some units left for Wargame: Gorillas in the mist ... planned for 2016.

The EuroFighter never saw combat and neither has Japans whole military or the majority of Sweden's military.

There are less reasonable prototypes already in game.

Though the 1980s vintage Osprey had a nasty habit of killing its occupants.

V-22 would not add anything that current helicopters aren't already doing. The range is to short for it's party trick to be relevant. On top of it all it would be armed worse.

Actually the V-22 Osprey has multiple machine guns on it and it goes over 500km so its better than other helicopters speed. So if i want to get my infantry at the start of the game to a contested town then is what I would go with.
