1: In progress, having fun though
2: Very interesting; the ability to play Blufor with [almost] all of its late-era weaponry, aswell as the background, the setting and the sheer vasteness of the map makes for a very interesting game to play.
3: By turn 4-5 things get REALLY challenging, though anyone with enogh wits, guts and determination will find a way to slow (if not stop) the N.Korean advance
4: The challenge it presents, the multiple tactics and outcomes of every battle surely affects your decisions À Grande Échelle
5: The roughness of it at the beginning; Retreating will help you buy some time, but one can easily get overrun and destroyed by the end of day 7
6: It's lenght seems perfect! I hated being pressured into acting due to a turn limit (Honestly, either give us more turns to complete the main objectives or just get rid of that idea as a whole)

1.) No I haven't finished it yet, its a fairly long campaign and I spent most of my time fighting the AI's depleted formations that were being pointlessly thrown at my units.

2.) It was a interesting campaign to see, the 2nd Korean War scenario being the main setting for the game. I liked the Hong Kong campaign very much, although that probably has a lot to with the fact that I live here when I'm not working or at uni. Climb Mt. Narodnaya was also very fun and is probably my favorite campaign in the game.

3.) The campaign is fairly hard, although that has more to do with the strange formations that I've been given to command, most of which appeared to be deliberately selected to handicap me, than the anything the AI managed to do. Battles with the AI were the usual spam fests with their usual uncanny ability to know were all your units and CVs are, although once you figure out what the AI will do, they become fairly predictable. The campaign it self adds several interesting challenges as it continues, and those were fun to deal with. At least in this campaign I have a fair amount of points to let me call in extra units.

4 & 5 are are basically answered by 2 & 3 but to summarise

Good points
- Interesting Campaign setting and plot
- Plot twists throughout the campaign

Bad Points
-Weird military formations
-Poor in game AI which drags battles on for much longer than they need to be, I had more fun auto resolving battles and playing strategic commander in one quick play test

6.) The length of the campaign is good, I'm a fan of long campaigns, and it would be nice to see a feature that would allow short and long campaigns by modifying the objectives and amount of available turn. Again the AI drags battles out, making the campaign longer, but not really better.

1. no
2 & 3. Other campaigns equally frustrating.
4. intro/ story, a modern "total war style" campaign.
5. Frustrating difficulty, enemy does helispam.
6. Can you repeat the question please.

1. Yes even captured soviet area on last day
2. Better than dragon vs bear worse than pearl of the orient
3. piece of cake when i ran around 90% of it in very slow or bullet time but not playing normally
4. 4 F111C's at once is so glorious and the combining of numerous nations strengths etc is interesting its like playing with other people who have complementary decks
5. The AI spam the lack of US units on the mainland when the invasion occurs and the lack of many units at the start for no apparent reason. The intro says units on the border were put on high alert yet all i see is m48 pattons and crap. I get its meant to be hard but maybe limit my points at first dont limit me to these awful units and not have any US units on the Korean peninsula. Not being able to move the first aircraft purchased to Pyongyang because its too far means they sit there for ages doing nothing. the fact that i usually got 1-3 kongos yet the AI got a seemingly unlimited amount of sov's and moskit ships was annoying. The amount of time for even airborne units from other nations to arrive was also silly. I'm perfectly fine with a hard campaign but this was unrealistically hard. The lack of any US units on Korea at the start was baffling the amount of time it took reinforcements to come was also annoying the stupid differences in equipment was infuriating M48 pattons vs T90's happened too many times to be acceptable and the fact that the only way i was able to win was with slow mo and insane micro was stupid. And the ending made me so disappointed with all of my effort i think that it deserved a cut scene of the quality of the starting cut scene because random US soldier without voice acting giving me a pat on the back is so depressing after all my efforts and just barely managing to capture the soviet area on the last day
6. Length was OK managed to finish it in about 3 days with a few hours each day spent on it did have to repeat quite a bit but once i developed a tactic for dealing with specific units with the units i had the whole thing became much easier.
And a major issue with the games AI not just in this campaign was the hiding of its last damned CV every F***ing time which dragged out games by a huge amount so often

Game keeps crashing. 3 times it dies just after I win a hard fought mission, and wipes my saves. Really bad. Game just goes black and says corrupt install/validation problem.
A brilliant plan from the dirtiest euro-hippie: get US players to pay me for a game that I then show them how much their military sucks so I can feel better about being a communist.

1) Yes, I won a Major victory I think (took Chinese port, took Pyongyang, didn't take Soviet port)
2) Very interesting, especially versus the Busan Pocket campaign, when you couldn't move about freely....
3) It was meh difficult, I had to play the opening battles on very slow/slow in order to micro my units and spot pushing locations. The most difficult battle was taking Pyongyang, as I was pushed back time and time again by hordes of NK 65 pt tanks. I was only able to take it by dropping airborne in the sector, allowing me to hold a forward spawn zone and (just barely) hold it with inf until the next turn, when I spawned everything out and wrecked ***.
4) Best points were the marine landings and holding the DMZ
5) 2 Glitches that I know of: The F-4 bombing squad and the F-86 lack the initiative to be flown to the airport in Pyongyang and be assigned there, so they are useless once you push past the DMZ a bit. Also, there is a NK marine battalion (forgot the name) where I killed all the cvs, and the only cv remaining was a Najin. The BG didn't die at the end of the battle, and it kept trying to attack me (on land only maps), so it used my initiative and always retreated once I launched the battle.
6) It had a nice length, I think just the right amount

I found this campaign to be much more enjoyable than any previous campaign, there is barely any boring repetitive attacks in the same sector each turn which have plagued the campaigns in the past. AI will give you a good fight navy wise, the plane support is good and the mix of units you chose is good. May just be me but i was struggling to complete it within 22 turns, i will give it another go and see if i do better 2nd time round.

My biggest wish would be you have the ability to create composite groups (Inf/Arty/SAM for example), at the end of the game you have so many different units it can be a pain sifting through the different icons to pick the ones you want.

*edit* I also couldn't use marines on the chinese port, although that may be intentional.

1. Yes, I've finished it twice... About to complete it once more on stream....
2. Better than the rest, much more fun
3. Difficult to a degree.... M48 vs t90s.... Not that great but tactically fun in a way
4. Big range of battles
5. Very, very repetitive when you try to take pyongyang sector... Endless waves... Side objectives didn't register...
6. Good length, just enough to make it challenging
6.

1 yes, twice

2 this one is longer and definitely massive, which I pretty like. It contains armies from many countries, and finally a campaign to use a large amounts of high ends to put on a fight.

3 In the beginning it's pretty hard, but I can still find some tricks, both strategic ones and tactical ones, to hold off nk forces and minimize my casualties. I literally didn't lose even one force in the strategic panel. In the near end, it's becoming easy,as all the heavies I got, and I can finally put on a fight.

4 massive theater and long time limit. Free to choose my own strategic plans. And a lot of high ends!

5 no Redfor version. And the blufor seems didn't get its new toys like marder 2 and patriot (correct me if I am wrong). No US mechanized or armored.

6 the length is good, though I wish to extend the time by a few rounds.

1- Yes.

2- Much better than all the other campaigns. much more immersive and more enjoyable due to the larger number of battlegroups.

3- A great balance. It's rather difficult at the start before you get support from the bigger nations, but it's not the total armor-clad roflstomp that the early part of the British campaign is.

4- Immersion, length, the ability to actually invade North Korea and show those Juche punks who's boss. Also Tomcats available for over-land CAP (thanks so much for that)

5- Lack of US ground and land-based air forces at start (seriously what happened to all the US forces arrayed throughout the country? Did they sleep through the invasion or something? It's rather odd as well that the A-10 squadron shows up so late, since the Assam Draggins are based in Osan and would certainly have been brought to bear earlier than turn 15.) Lack of an actual reason for the NK withdrawal, disproportionately large French commitment. Finally, for some reason the USMC battle groups couldn't disembark in sectors other than the harbor sector where the Bellau Wood spawns. Another point I will mention is that mission structure got rather annoying.

Switching missions up between conquest and destruction would be rather interesting, for example having the first turn on a particular sector being a land grab while the second turn (if the enemy isn't completely destroyed or routed) is a destruction match to simulate the battlegroup securing its hold on the territory. Some missions (like the siege of Pyongyang) would have been a bit easier and entertaining that way I think.

6- A little bit longer would have been nice, but it was still entirely satisfying.
