Definitely, but I figure that's a lot less likely then reducing it 5-10 points.

It doesnt need anything big, just +5% acc or +175m range vs planes. It's unfortunately the best CW can field as a dedicated radar missile AA.

They've talking in the UK thread about changing the UK Tracked Rapier FSA to an upgraded variant.

I prefer long ranged missiles for sniping helicopters. If I wanted something fast I would take a spaag.

Yes please. Either upgrade it into a later Rapier version, or reduce price to 40/45.
A brilliant plan from the dirtiest euro-hippie: get US players to pay me for a game that I then show them how much their military sucks so I can feel better about being a communist.

I say no because FSA has amazing ROF and less cost would mean I couldn't resist it.

I think the rapier FSA is a 40 point AA, it's basically like the OSA-AK in terms of performance, it's tracked OSA is wheeled, but it's more accurate.

Change UK Tracked Rapier FSA to FSB2.

Price buff ANZAC FSA by a small amount if necessary - though I'm dubious about that, as the 8 missile without reload is a big advantage. It also needs to have 'Very Good' air detection, which is currently an oversight/bug in the game as it's a radar AA but only has 'good' air detection.

Result: Rapier, Rapier FSA, and Rapier FSB2 for Commonwealth deck. More well-rounded, non-prototype AA selection for anti-plane without any overly flashy new capabilities by performing a re-role that doesn't actually remove the old unit from existence entirely.

Well, yes, realistically I'd take the 3. It's just even the 2 is far preferable to the Rapier and a more direct comparison in cost.

I haven't done science on it, but I don't really see this. They're very effective at just shutting down planes in my experience, both when used by me or by my opponent. Armored, too, so you don't just remove them with a little arty.

I think we have a lot of highly accurate AA like that already tbh. I think current Rapier but cheaper is preferable anyway, not only for variation but also for good ADN tactics, atleast the ones i like to use.
