You should be happy that you got a unit that everyone can bitch about and claim that USA should never get another unit it had in real life (being the absolute powerhouse it was in real life) because of that single unit while there are plenty of flaws in the rest of their deck. Because one unit invalidates every suggestion ever.

I hope you get my sarcasm.

Add Javelin like any normal ATGM, just have it shoot straight at the frontal armor, realism be damned

RBS 56 already does that, it's not about realism being damned, its that Eugen can't be assed to actually work.

Also it'd cost about 36 gorillion monopoly money to pay someone for the model of the Javelin

Like anyone will even be able to see it outside of the armory  just replace it with a model that looks sorta like it. I think Eryx model may fit the bill?

No

I cannot explain to you how many unrealistic things there are in this game....

Javelin would take about an hour tops to model, or you could just use the APILAS model and nobody would notice

Weapons can also be given a top attack trait, or just increased AP like RBS 56.

Like TOW systems it's very easy to add in.
If there's two kinds of players, those that like challenges and those that want a fair game, pubstomps should make everyone happy.

Then you get the problem of the original Wargame and ALB, where alot of the times tanks will fail a battle which they should have one because they got the upper hand. There's also the problem where 5 man ATGM teams make the 2 man teams completely irrelevent. Which is why Eugen got rid of 5 man Milan and Konkurs teams.

Just be happy we got the patriot instead.

It is but it's the excuse that seems to be spouted the most. Kind of like how people think the Javelin atgm shouldn't be in because it's top attack, meanwhile the RBS 56 bill already does that.

If you want to argue whether it's balanced or not, go for it, I could care less. But when your reasons for not including it are hypocritical based on stuff that's already in game (javelin example fits this) then it's a problem.

The Javlin wasn't added due to it being 3-4 years OOTF, not because it was top attack. Going by you're logic US shouldn't have and Hellfire missiles either...

Eugen's reasoning is kind of silly, especially when you consider that all infantry in this game is either mechanized, motorized, or air lifted. A squad of 5 people could carry a TOW especially if you had a vehicle to ride around in. One guy with the tripod, one with the launcher, the rest carry the ammo. The TOW ingame isn't even that impressive of a system. 50% accuracy and 15ap, not OP by any means.

I think it would be worth implementing, a lot of minors don't have any ATGM infantry at all.
