Ya know it's more complicated than that.

Yeah, most of 20mm have 2 AP and many 25/30 mm canons have 2AP too... except they don't have the same range and as such they have de facto more AP for the same range. :/

except 2a42 on bmp. It has same range as nato 20mm, sam HE, same AP, but much less ACC and even less ROF. Soviet 30mm is flat worse than nato 20mm, wtf?

I haven't checked that particular point since ALB came out, but in WEE the 2A42/2A72 had way better RoF than the other autocannons in game despite worse stats in the armory.
Have you verified the RoF in-game or are you using the value displayed in the armory ?

I hope he realizes that the only autocannons that got an accuracy buff from that autocannon update a while back were the Bushmaster and various larger caliber autocannons. Just because the Bushmaster is NATO doesnt mean all NATO autocannons are now superior to PACT autocannons.

where this joke came out that rof value in armory is like opposite to what it is actual ingame ROF? Its not. in armory is correct value of rof. I tested different mg and ac on infantry unit, and they killing them as fast as bigger their rof value in armory, at least in RD.

it may sound like it fire slower, with less rof, but its just sound effect, its not connected to ingame rof

Also ingame performance gap between 2a42 and 2a72 is huge. 2a72 has more range, more ap, more accuracy, more rof. While IRL 2a72 was developed as just less complex and lighter alternative to the widely used 2A42. Studies revealed that the 2A42 was virtually always used at the low rate of fire setting, so they just cut off high rate of fire switch mechanism from 2A42 and called it 2a72. So 2a72 should have less rof then 2A42, and ingame its just opposite, it has more rof. It's so messed up :?

So to make it right, 2a42 should have same low accuracy as now, but 800 rof(its what it is when cannon controls set to "high rof setting"). Then it should have 2ap and 1700m range, or 3ap and 1500m range.
2a72 should have all stats same as now but rof is 300
