For airforce rerolls:

Mig-29M - Replacing RBK-500 for KAB-500 for Mig-29M (as the Mig-25RB already serves the cluster role very well & Soviets are missing a LGB carrier)

Thread on it here: viewtopic.php?f=160&t=47573

Su-25T - Replacing the Useless R-73 on the Su-25T with Kh-58 or Kh-25MP for Dual role SEAD/ATGM 200pt death wagon. But only 1 per card

Do the pylons allow for this loadout or do the hardpoints make it inauthentic?

Every loadout chart I have seen for the T/TM lists this as possible, but I do not know if they are well sourced... It would look weird with the outer three pylons empty though.

Okay, it'd certainly be unique and undeniably worth a lot of points, combine it with some decent recon and it could wipe whole pushes out.

I would like to alter my statement slightly. I know for a fact the Su-25TM can carry a pod that allows it to fire the Kh-58, certain AShM missiles, and the R-77. I do not know for sure if these are in the time frame or if the Kh-58 can be mounted along side of the Vihkr's for flight operations. As far as realism goes in this game though, it is a lot more realistic than some current loadouts...

Why did Eugen even add the YAK-141.... Seriously... it's just as bad as the Chimera considering the Russians already have a cheaper dogfighter, one that actually entered production and has become as popular (if not more) as the F-16

The Yak-141 is actually one of the most reasonable of the Soviet prototypes, and would most definitely have entered production had the Soviet Union not collapsed.

Not that I think the present loadout is the best. My own solution for Soviet aircraft can be seen here:

Il-102 is no longer overweight and slow.

To make way for the Su-24M with FAB 1500s. Showing anything NATO can do Pact can do with more explosives.

Image
The Su-27PU that was randomly in the marine deck has been removed. It's been replaced by the Su-27K without the stupid Moskit loadout. Instead it sports the extended range version of the IR and radar R-27.

The Su-27S price has been reduced to 140 and the PU price to 180 too.

Image
The Yak-141 now gives guided bomb capability to the Soviets and their marine deck with 2 KAB-500Kr.

Image
As the Yak-141 now serves as the marine deck's iron bomber (alongside the Su-24M) the Kh-23M has been moved over from the MiG-27 to the Yak-38M to give the marines ATGM capability.

Image
Which means I can eliminate the MiG-27 and MiG-27M redundancy and add for the Soviets a gun & rocket truck. Capable of shredding light vehicles and infantry.

I'd still rather have had a MiG-29 ASF. My god it's sexy.

Edit; I wasn't replying to Mikeboy, his re-rolls popped up as I was typing. Also his re-rolls are sexy and I approve.

More reasonable than the USSRs top of the line dogfighter? Good one, you gave me a good laugh
