You need to do better next time.

such expensive plane should not be such micro intensive

On the contrary, the more costly the unit, the more micro intensive.

It's how it works for Uber-heavies, it's how it works for high-end heavy SAMs, its how it works for 500 point ships... it's just how things work in RD.

drect consequence of EUG deciding to consistently keep lowering availability on top tier units in every iteration

ALB = top tanks 3 per card, top planes 2 cards
RD = top tanks 2 per card, top planes 1 card

The last time used this plane I puked at its inefficiency and luck intensity. I'll never use something that costs 200 points yet never hits more than once 70 to 80% of the time. For ATGM purposes MiG-27s are at least a bit more cost efficient even though they're horribly vulnerable.

The F&F stat is horribly overpriced. It does nothing that SA missiles with the same accuracy cant do except if you don't make even a tiny effort at microing

200pts is for something that has the battle changing power of strike eagle. Even if the Su-27M hits most of the time it rarely is a game changer unlike certain blufor aircraft with similar prices(hello nukehawk). It will only deserve its cost if the Kh-29T accuracy is buffed to 60% or if it gets LGBs.

It only has 50% accuracy missiles though, that's not very good.

This thread has no point, has terrible arguments, and is nothing more then a whine thread. Lock it please.

I think both su27m and su25t should cost 180 points instead of 200. They are good planes as it is but overpriced. No other plane in the game costs 200 points while USSR deck has 2 planes with such a crazy price.

Agreed on the Su-25T, it's slow, got mediocre ECM and their missiles are okayish, though it has lots of them. 180-185 at max.
The Su-27M on the other hand is EASILY worth the 200 points, it's got long-range F&F missiles, EXTREMELY good ECM and very good missiles.
It is easily worth the 200 points, just compare it with the F/A-18C which costs 160 points.
It has better ECM.
It has better ATG-missiles.
It has better AND more AA-missiles. They are long-ranged unlike the F/A-18C's.
It has a better rate of turn.
This is easily worth 40 points.

1. Start senseless topic.
2. Endure the first few posts.
3. Wait til someone disagrees with somebody else in the thread.
4. Sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

Nice job breaux-leg. 8-)

I have had issues with it in the past and largely gave up on using it in favor of helis but I think whatever problems it has could probably be resolved by someone who knew how to micro it well. Probably the high altitude forces a relatively sharp turn down right after firing whch it may not always be able to make. It could maybe be improved by allowing better dynamic performance for the Kh-29 (which would not change the accuracy number). That said there's really nothing in the OP to indicate what causes the problem so I'm just guessing based on prior experience.
