(v594) DLC #3 Early Access Beta ... is live

Postby [EUG]MadMat » Fri 12 Dec 2014 16:22

Beta early access branch is now live (I see it and am downloading it).

As a reminder, here is how you can join it:
Spoiler : "HOW TO JOIN THE EARLY ACCESS BETA" :
STEP 1: Right-clic on Wargame Red Dragon in your game library.

STEP 2: Select “Properties” (last option). A window will open.

Image

STEP 3: Select the “Beta” tab in the new window.

Image

STEP 4: In the scrolling list, select the "beta - DLC3 Early Access" version. The game will start downloading (depending on your settings, it may ask for a confirmation).

Image

STEP 5: Once the download is complete, when launching the game, a new launcher windown will open:

Through this launcher, you will be able to easily switch back and forth between the "vanilla" & "early access" version, without time lost downloading files. This means that, once you've gotten on the beta branch, you don't have much reasons to go through the lenghty process of going back to the original branch unitil official release, since you can access both version from this one.

NOTE: If in STEP 4, you don't see the "beta - DLC3 Early Access" version, it means you must quit and restart Steam fo it to see it.

Eh, so now the already over-priced Chieftain doesn't even have an AP advantage over the hordes of 105mm contemporaries that already outperformed it at lower price? Did rather expect at least a straight up price buff if they weren't finally going to get changed.

    Otherwise it's looking great.
