M113 transport options for Denmark?

Postby keebs63 » Mon 15 Dec 2014 22:56

Hey guys. Seeing as how both FKP and Jaegere (both versions) only have MD Jupiters and Lynx as transports, I'd really love to give another type of ground transport to help make Denmark a bit more playable. So, I would like to add the M/113A1 and M?113G transport options for them. What do you guys think?

Or even better.... a wheeled transport... like a Unimog, or a Piranah, or something....

The Piranha would be a new model/unit and they already have a truck transport :<

Denmark is also the only nation that doesn't have a wheeled APC for its infantry, i hope we can just ignore the no 5/10 pt trucks rule for Denmark, as they really need something other then M113s for their infantry...

no, the special forces doctrine simply didn't "allow" for any sort of M113 type transportation "options" FKP and Jægere would be deployed by parachute, helicopter or simply on foot, depending on the task at hand.

Wheeled APC
Danish wheely APC even without armaments just to keep balance Its fair that we don't get the Piranha but its not fair that we don't get a compensation for the trucks we lost because some other people exploited some game features
A quick and dirty way would to give us the Finish Patria XA-185 it looks the same as the Swedish and Norvegean ones we actually had some but also out of time frame (2002) (It wont be game breaking the models are already in and its game breaking for anybody playing the danish deck not having samething) or give us the Piranha

As hard as it is: Denmark cannot into motorized deck. I say we deal with it by thinking positively:

The mechanized decks loses almost nothing and this deck should and could be improved. Had the Danes access to FKP or Jaegere in this deck, Denmark could play its strengths to the fullest. Since the coalition already has access to elite forces (FSK, Kustjägere, snipers) it is a buff for Denmark without overly buffing the coalition.

PS: Ever noticed the licence plate of the Danish Jupiter? In Germany the "BG" licence plates indicate it is a vehicle from the BundesGrenzschutz. I can't imagine they operate in Denmark
