Availability tanks top level

Postby Alexander » Sun 11 Jan 2015 09:14

Why not increase the number of tanks (M1A2, 2A5, Challi 2, T-72BU, T-80UM) from 2 to 3? (standard tank platoon)

A lot of nations standard tank platoon is anywhere from 5-3 in the timeframe. The Germans have switched from 4 to 3 to 4 so often they might as well be playing Tank Platoon Dress Up Simulator for girls.

For the sake of simplicity, I think all NATO tanks should have atleast 4 cards while Redfor should have 3 cards.

+1

Also USA troops should all come at one higher training level due to GI Bill and tuition assistance benefits

Yeah, having an extra M1A2 over a T-72BU wouldn't be unbalancing, at all.

In the infantry units of the Russian army, tank platoon also consists of four tanks. Therefore, for all 3

This is someone's imagination or are there more serious documents? What a strange habit on this forum, to lead the conversation in a completely different plane from the title of the topic

I agree and, I'm hoping next game they do something about high end tanks. I get kinda tired having to roll tanks from the 60's and 70's when we're in 1992. I hope next game they completely get rid of the old units like 1980 and below, and focus more on modern times like having lines of Abrams and T-90s/T-80s. Instead of T-62s and M-60s.....

T-62s and M-60s were still in service along with T-55s. I think units relatively close to 1980 should be kept, but made cheaper. It's the units like the M48s, Centurions, T-34s that are holding everyone back.

They could also implement a system where you have three separate armories for three separate eras.

You can totally do that already. There are 14 M1A1 available in a US deck, and roughly the same of every t80/t64/t72 line barring prototypes and the top most tier. People just cant get off the min-max train and skip right over these medium heavy tanks all together.
