Strait to the point Problem

Hi All :)
I really love this game and feel by now that there is a good control of the balance.
I know this has been discussed before, but I really think it is one of the biggest problems in Wargame RD is,
when you start at red side of Strait to the point. and takes center.
the reinforcement takes a long detour instead of taking the direct way.
This is breaking the balance of the map and is very frustrating, since if you are not carefull, you units go straight into enemy line and get killed, or go through the woods which takes really long time :(
Has taken two pictures showing the problem. ;)

Through much trial and error losing valuable support assets, I learned to start calling in units to spots that make them take the correct road.

So you are calling in reinforcements to Chariton and you are pissed that they drive in front of Fedor?

Obviously they are going to take the shortest route there.

Learn how to manage your units better.

Then look at the second picture, it certainly not the shortest route.
and it has not always been that way. it came after one of the new upgrades.
I have learned and play error. but once in a while in the heat of battle, you can forget it and it can be fatal in a ranked game :)

Route finding is definitely wrong on this map. This is a straight out bug, not working as intended.
DLC #2: UI usability improvements in the game menus.

Shorter was a bad word to use. Faster is more accurate, and actually that is faster than your proposed map of going through the trees.

Going down and around or through the trees would definitely be smarter, but the game doesn't put intelligence into it's route calculations. That's your job.

The problem is that they start the wrong place to start with :? .
They should start under Boris instead, as before the patch.
Boris is clearly the best way to go from, wherever you want to go in the left side ;) .
