[DDoS ATTACK] Round #3

Postby [Eug]Stof » Thu 18 Jun 2015 11:35

A small temporary measure patch has been released. It should solve the disconnect issues for Red Dragon mostly.

There might still be some services affected but those shouldn't end up in full disconnects but just occasional player disconnection alerts at worse. If they are a problem we'll fix those server side.

The patch is 100% compatible with the previous version though so you might still see disconnects from players that didn't download it already until it spreads around more.

So mods will be fine?

There's no reason mods won't be working since this change is just a network server configuration.

Well, when you are in the lobby and want to pick your deck but as soom as someone new enters or anything changes your menu for selecting your deck scrolls back. it prevents us from chosing the desired deck quickly. Sometimes you panic due to the lobby bug ;-)
It is a well known bug reported in this forum but has great impact on the players' fun.

btw, just tested 10v10 and there seemed to be no problems!

Why does everyone say it's a bug??? It's not... it wasn't intended either...

Stupid question time...

Where is the patch applied? To the server, or does it have to be downloaded and installed to each client?
