budget longbow for RD? ohh sweet 8-)
but how many can it carry? 2

Yes, 2. It's basically the naval Z-9C launching the TV seeker YJ-7. The user interface need to be modified though, the YJ-7 was mostly used as a radar guided anti ship missile.

A lot of brass. I have only seen smaller models, but this one is superb. :D

There's also the NK Kub and the Type 83 SPAAG (BTR-152 ZPTU-4).

There were also '85 versions of the Pathfinders, Commando Paras and Green Jackets as well as leftovers from EE (were they in the game?) like the command Fuchs and BRDM-2, the PZRK Strela-2 and the T-55AM-1. Oh, and the hilarious PETIT BATO. There's even a US supply vehicle with 1000pts of supply and all around armor (M548?).

Yeah I know about these, you just search for "deprec" in the armory tool, but this truck does not have that in the name so I did not know about that up until now.

Eugen took it out, because they couldn't find a good picture... therefore they couldn't satisfy the extremly high standard on 3D model they have set for themselves, so they didn't bother. Meanwhile around 30% of models in NK/CHN roster are frankensteins monsters or other freaks.

btw. take a look at this thing:

I'm convinced you can't reasonably make a model out of this shittier quality image, now can you?

This is the album with all closed beta PLA units, the HN-5c is also there somewhere. Also good for a laugh about the balance back then.

I mean, you could just make a generic truck model and stick the launcher on top of it and it would look fine to me. There were a few posts about models but let's be honest the problem(s) are the stats. I'd have no problem If someone took the Akatsiya model and called it PLZ-05, I might pay for cosmetic updates but not much.

The HN-5c is quite redundant when you taking the myriad of manpad vehicles NK offers, the only advantage is to provide a wheeled "iglabus" for moto decks, since the original strela/iglabus is locked out.

But this is not my problem. The problem is the excuses eugen gives for deleting the unit. "We couldn't find a pic so we scrapped the unit"... (which btw is a lie) I mean coooome ooooonnn yoooogen. And i'd like to repeat that i don't give that much fuck about how the models look, the whole ZTZ-85 line is a mutant of Al-Zarrar and not to mention the other obvious ones. However eugen had proven consistently rerolls/balance being decided at least partially by what the unit models can represent. So, i'll remind them that their major addition and faction for wargame 3 had like 30% fuck ups in modeling.

The PF-98 strapped up on individual infantrymen. Remember the light weight fetish PLA has.
