Questions to developers about future of Wargame series

Postby karnalooch » Sat 9 Jan 2016 13:11

Hello

I know that you working hard on Act of Aggression, but i love Wargame series. You give to us very good DLC's but i have few questions to you about this brilliant game:

1. Do you have plan to add more map packs???
2. Is there any chance to give to us map editor (ofcourse if you decide to stop working on Red Dragon) ??

Sorry for my poor english :) .

Cheers

I know the answer to the last one more than likely no.

It is 99% sure that there will be a map patch #3.

The rest is unknown. My bet is that this end-of-life-time patch for WarGame 3 is a way to carry the interest to..something else. From what I know about the game industry (very little) it is normal to ship a game a year. Eugen did that for the last 4 years, I think. Will it be WG4? AoA2? A candy crash rip-off?

The Wargame map making process requires the use of 3rd party programs. This basically means they can't release a map maker, but could possibly tell us which programs they use and how it's all done.

Basically no.

What is the Release date for Wargame 4: Global Conflict?

Featuring new nations and coalitions from the Middle East, Africa, Indo-China, South America and more!
-Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa
-Brazil, Chile, Argentina
-India, Pakistan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
-Finland, Ukraine, Italy,

Featuring an improved naval system centered on partol boats/coastal support and amphibious assault ships rather than naval-to-naval engagement. Also more amphibious vehicles and LCAC :)

Also featuring an extended timeline from 1939-2006 :o

Featuring less bugs and more stability :P

But they are business class type programs that cost a lot, or something like that...I think...

Map editor will take work just to make one, even more to make map sharing and downloading smooth and simple.

I'd like to see swamps come back, along with units that keep moving when you split a group.
