An allusion to flamethrower teams getting a buff, no doubt.

It looks more like a nerf.

I think my trolling abilities are off the chart today, as that makes two people who didn't get my joke. I think I should take it easy for a while. With great power comes great responsibility.
And a shitty rate of fire Peter...

Good grief! If you didn't detect the sarcasm in the original post, which was intended to acknowledge your objection, please note it now. FWIW, those same uninformed conjectures will still occur; it will take some time before we can test the changes. In this way, saving the patch notes until release won't mitigate your objections. Requesting the patch notes a day or two early is just a playful way of expressing excitement about the changes.

Can I not answer sarcasm with sarcasm? I knew you were joking. Relax. I had to pick a quote to attach my post to so it would have context, so I picked the first one on the subject I saw, yours.

Everyone's got patch imminent fever!

Indeed we do and of course you can. I just didn't detect your trolling. No worries - I'm quite relaxed. ;)

As long as Eugen gets it out before the end of Wednesday, I'll be happy.

Mainly cause my internet is data-capped (darn you satellite internet!) and the data cycle resets then; It's hard to justify a 500MB download when you only have so much data (and have to share with 5 other people). And I'd like to play without having to use someone else's wifi to download. :D

So Eugen, pretty please, Wednesday or Bust? 8-)
