You are acting as if Wargame would be only great due to it playing in the Cold War.

A WWII version, who isnt really part of the franchise, hence the different title, could be something new and fresh. At the worst it offers the possibility to improve the engine for a new and even better Wargame.

I didn't expect Tiger II (H), but I can't say I'm surprised, especially if it's the whole Normandy campaign and not just the beaches.

EDIT: apparently first combat use was 11 July 1944. Hope we get enough Fireflies...

So it is confirmed. WWII game. I guess some people will be happy. Not me.

I have to continue playing WGRD for the next few years bc I'm not buying this one.

As long as RD remains supported and doesn't go the WIC way I'm fine with it for now.

Full mod support is also planned, with a particular eye toward the World War 2 geeks who can’t stand having a patch on a British artillery officer’s uniform being in the wrong place.

Mod support does nothing when you want to play against other players
I just like the general idea of a deck system to much...

Since Paradox is publisher does it mean this game will have at least 50 DLCs?
