Napalm is relevant? I can't hear you over the sound of all these 1000lb bombers my decks have.
The USA is #1 exporter of freedom!
All other countries have inferior freedom!

I recently switched to moto decks and will be paying close attention to how the veteran vehicle tab cheap SPAAGS perform against bombers now. Also throwing in lots of the cheapest MANPADS to take advantage of hopefully more stunned planes.

The reappearance of the tomcat has reminded me that no deck should rely upon an airtab linchpin.

Though this is getting off topic, I feel like the F-4J should get the Napalm. The A7 would be better at napalming higher risk areas with superior ECM. The F-4S should have been given the same missile load out as the F-15A. WIth this arrangement, the F-14 in 4 LRAAM sniper configuration would have synergy. Plus that buddy system would be realistic.

I've made this argument before, switch the F-4J and F-4S role but people get really anal about it. Some even act like they are losing a Phantom with 8 napalm canisters

The only thing that is different is that you get better missiles with the F-4S

Or just rename the F-4J to F-4N and give it better weapons, since by 1980 there weren't any F-4Js around anymore.

F-4N should be cat C marine jet with 4xAIM-9L (50%, 5HE) and 3xAIM-7F (50%, 6HE) with 20-30% ECM, 0/3/0/0/2 avail. "USAF" has F-15A.

F-14 should be Cat B marine jet with 4xAIM-9M (6%, 5HE) and 4xAIM-7M (60%, 6HE) with 30-40% ECM and 0/3/0/0/2 avail. This would also provide B cat jet for USA which does not have at all currently, and even cat C F-15A has avail issues. (0/2/0/0/1 instead 0/3/0/0/2.)

They could be 0/0/2/0/1 or just 0/0/0/2/0 if 3 availability is too much too, so there's really no reason to not at least kind of buff their veterency.
