Recon Unit Identification (Once again)

Postby Markenzwieback » Sun 20 Mar 2016 11:47

We had a similar thread back in the day with a bunch of tanks not being spotted by a recon unit. One argument was that regular infantry recon might have worse identification values, but now the same (and even worse) happened with shock squads. Have a look.

I have not the slightest of a clue how the tank wasn't identified properly. At the moment I am actually thinking it could be something wrong with this side of Road to Seoul.

Identification is like RNG really.....

iirc, higher veterancy increase the chance of identification

just open the unit information and click the enemy unit to see it, no need for zooming

Unless you're playing a friend who's using an armoured deck with every single model of soviet T-72  Seriously, that's the measure of a true pro...... Spotting things like IR searchlights and ERA on the silhouette....
The only (probably) sane player to take a card of Akulas voluntarily..... UNTIL RED DRAGON!

Well I don't think there's any difference between the models (not the paint schemes) of the M1A1/HA/HC. Good luck there. :P

If i recall correctly, the M1A1HA/HC have stowage boxes on the side of the turret. I don't think the normal M1A1 has the same. Just in case anyone wants to know, could be wrong.
Britain doesn't need better SEAD - it has the Challenger 2 for that.

I know the M1A2 has the extra thermal sight, but I'll have to check later on the others.
