Did Marder 2 and IDS get removed?

IDS for 130pt is garbage, the marder 2 cost like a tank and come with an atrocious availability. And no 1,7km stealth autocannon.

It's armored like a tank too, and the cannon is quite decent at removing light vehicles.

At 40pt? available only with 20-25pt infantry?

Its HE DPS is still pretty bad for such a high price and it still gets killed by the first 24AP rocket that connects. The only really useful role is anti-vehicle and long-range anti-infantry, in all of which a regular Leopard would do similarly well or even better.

You get decent infantry with that "tank". And you complained about the lack of decent ac, which is not true. It may not be the cheapest deal around but it is still powerful.

Yeah, its HE is lacking and i would welcome the 2 HE buff, but the ifv itself is not hopelessly bad. And how many ifv can survive a 24 AP rocket anyway, besides the panzergrenadiere should be around somewhere to keep those pesky VDV and LstR busy.

Maybe if the price goes down to 35 points it could be good. Because currently it doesn't worth it, especially with the low avail.

2HE and 35 points seem like a fair trade for the total of 9 vehicles you get. Alternatively we could go with 2HE and 11 or 12AV, while staying at 40 points.

At 40pt is not decent. What lack are the 15-20pt 1.7km autocannons, spammable autocannons.

Most factions can play the stealth game with a 1,7km ac in the recon tab. The luchs are pretty irrelevant as 1,5km is out-ranged by everything.

Talking about the recon tab, huh? France brings alot of steelth tanks though, cost effective ones to boot. Steelth ac are nice to have but steelth cannons are not to be ignored.

The amx-13 was good at 20pt. at 25 is meh. The wheeled amx has a low rate of fire. If you attack move an amx-10 vs a brdm-3, the brdm-3 wins every time.
