Adding speed stat for ATGM

Title says it all. I think that speed is pretty important stat for ATGM's and I would like to hear what you think.

Speed differences already exist as a hidden stat amongst the missile types, with mclos being slowest and salh being fastest for ground weapons. Some missiles iirc have a slightly faster speed than what they're tagged as, since they were pretty speedy in real life.

IMO atgms are in a good spot. The only thing that could be tuned is the amount of supply cost for each missile.

So I read "adding the speed stat to the armory", Sleksa (maybe?) read "add a speed stat to the game", and morpher responded like this was a balance discussion.

Might want to be more articulate in the OP.

Anyway, yeah, it exists, I agree it's important and probably should be made visible somewhere in the armory, and Sleska's pointed out the best way to get a quick guess without relying on the mod tools- MCLOS slow, SACLOS fast, SAHL fastest.

Man, long time not been on this forum.

I think that speed stats are redundant for missiles, since it isn't really the most important thing. Accuracy is, that's why I rarely use Milan missiles anymore. But that's long time ago, perhaps it has changed?

Technically the ATGM supply cost was reduced in 20% in the Netherlands patch iirc.

Reworking the armory so that it shows actual info on EVERYTHING would be pretty handy.

Bollox. The Swingfire/HOT 1 are faster than the Sivir. The Kokon [SALCOS] is as fast as the Invar (SALH).
