You're letting them off easy, considering Tiera's crusader for Finland took about 4 years

Harrier Gr.7 (LGB Bomber) -> Harrier Gr.7 (ATGM and Rocket, 2 AGM-65F Mavericks and 2x19 CRV-7 rocket pods, Prototype, 140 pts, 1 card of 2)

I believe the UK didn't have mavericks in time frame.

To be fair, I've had my share of fantasy.

Spoiler : Xeno's CMW wishlist :
BAC Strikemaster -> 38xSNEB rockets
Eurofighter Typhoon -> 6xAIM-120A + 4xASRAAM
ANZAC F-4E -> UK "Phantom FGR.2" 1200xM61A1 + 4xSkyflash + 4xAIM-9G; (900km/h, 20% ECM, 1979)
CF-18 ASuW -> ANZAC "F/A-18A CAP" 2xAIM-7M, 4xAIM-9L; (5000L, 150s)
ANZAC F/A-18A -> 6xMk-83, 2xAIM-9L
ANZAC F-111G -> "F-111C-EW" 4xAGM-88
Harrier GR.1 -> 36xSNEB
Harrier GR.3 -> 2xGP Mk.10/117
Harrier GR.5 -> "Sea Harrier FRS.2" 2xAIM-120, 4xAIM-9L, no cannon
Harrier GR.7 -> 2xCPU-123/B, 2xAIM-9L
Jaguar GR.1 -> 2xAJ.168
Jaguar GR.1A -> 4xIBL-755, 2xAIML-9L (overwing pylons)
Mirage IIIO(A)/(F) -> +10% ECM
Tornado F.3 -> "Tornado GR.4" 4xALARM, 2xAIM-9L
Tornado F.2 -> "Tornado F.3" 4xSkyflash SuperTEMP, 3xAIM-9L, 30% ECM
Tornado GR.1 -> 8xGP Mk.13/114, 2xAIM-9L

Pure fantasy (requires new models):
Add CF-100 Mk 5M, 29xFFAR + 4xAIM-7C
Add Buccaneer S.2B; 2xAS-37, 30% ECM
Add Buccaneer S.2D: 2xAJ.168, 20% ECM
Jaguar GR.1 -> 6xBL-755
New model: GR.1 Harrier (4 skins for AV-8C, Sea Harrier, GR.1, GR.3)
Modified model for FRS.2: no gun pods (AIM-120s there instead).

If high-speed, low-level flight actually provided benefits vs medium-range SAM systems,
Buccaneer S.2A; 4xMk.13/117, 8xMk.2/118, 20% ECM

Correct. The Maverick didn't get purchased by the UK until the early 2000's in response to how well it worked in the Balkans, and it was the AGM-65D. Basically, the only possible ITF AGM Britain had was the AJ.168.

You've misunderstood something there. F.2s were fitted with ballast initially while some problems with the radar were ironed out, but that radar was fitted later. There are numerous pics of them carrying Skyflash missiles which require a radar to work at all.

We've proposed one of the tornado's becoming a GR.4 with Alarms and the sea harrier being given two amraams and two aim-9's. Doubt it will happen but it would be great to see.

Either way it's rather redundant in the CMW air tab and it's better off being re-roled rather than the more iconic and useful F.3 model.

I'd mark it up to the "what if WW3 broke out" scenario in which the U.K. would probably have had a more dire need for modern ATGMs (and based on the fact that they adopted them after seeing how well they performed in the Balkans it's not too much of a stretch to think they'd have done the same in a WW3 scenario) in order to justify what would quite a cool and unique loadout that doesn't reach too much in terms of reality (we're not talking about Brimstones or anything like that :lol:)

British SEAD is a joke and outright community abuse.

We asked for a meal and you threw us a bone with gristle.

I really hate the that logic. Why can't you accept that the UK has a limitation in something? Not like the UK is in dire need of ATGMs as it does have an actual ATGM plane you just don't like it so there is no need for an exception.
