Laser guided bombs are dire. Bad, bad change.

Yo,

The Q-5D LT-3 (and I'm assuming same for GR.7 and Nighthawk?) is broken. Nerfed far too much. The accuracy is shockingly bad. I've had missiles land 100 mtrs apart and ended up dying on next attempt. If the plane cost is reduce by 50% then maybe its worth it. As it stands it's pish. Out of the four games I've just played, not once did I get a single, direct hit. Nor a kill for that matter. 115pts too.

Are you intending make this change permanent or is it a work in progress? If it's staying then you should either massively reduce card cost, or remove the things from the game.

How to get your post ignored 101: A Case Study
If there's two kinds of players, those that like challenges and those that want a fair game, pubstomps should make everyone happy.

His post may not be best in category for presentation but his point (I feel) is valid. The LGB's got nerfed hard, too hard IMO. Eugen's floccinaucinihilipilification (I finally used that word!) of LGB's is unjustified - LGB's are some of the most accurate weapons every created. Following the nerf it feels like the bombs are just slingshotted in the general direction and hope for the best. The F-117 is essentially a useless unit now.

A good compromise may have been keeping em pinpoint accurate, but changing their max angle of directional change. So they cant hit something moving past a certain speed directly.

Could be argued due to the inherent energy-limitations for LGB maneuvering.

My fix was to either increase the reload time similar to that of SEAD aircraft or increase the cost of the aicraft / decrease availability. Nerfing the weapons just takes the entire unit out of play.

Is it possible to simply add "accurate"/"non-accurate", same as artillery, mechanic? Meaning regular bombers would have a crazy spread, LGB a much better one up to pinpoint accuracy if you can actually see the spot. Will also introduce some more realism factor to recce sniper squads.

They do seem useless for killing tanks now and can only really reliably kill light targets where the HE splash is sufficient to kill them, but you know for that i can just buy a rocket plane instead...
I hope your buratino's die screaming.

Aren't there like 7 rocket planes in total in wargame though?

There is actually 1 coalition that suffers from this weakness... Eurocorps.
