Israeli Voiceovers

Postby Borscht » Wed 5 Oct 2016 06:25

I just wanted to say thank you.
After a completely lackluster Russian VO that I've spent years tolerating, the IDF shines like a star. It's exactly what I ever wanted it to be, which is: gritty, humorous and just...so Israeli :D
So I want to say thank you Eugen for making this DLC happen! It has some awesome units and a really nice vo to go along.
P.S. Is your IDF advisor a Givati veteran? Cause I'm still wondering why my Givati units are storming the front in their signature blue berets lol

Hear hear. Voice acting makes a huge difference in immersion, going that little extra way is enough to make a game memorable... for better or worse :P

I dont speak hebrew so to me the voiceovers are just "chamelachamelacham, oy vey!" ;) But would you care to write your favourites down and translate them? That way I can listen to them with a little more comprehension. TIA.

אם אני לא יכול לטוס, אף אחד לא יטוס.

If I can't fly, nobody can.
Always makes me giggle.

Yeah, kinda wish we could get some new voices for existing nations, at the very least to ensure aircraft have their own unique set rather than using helicopter voice comms (complete with the obvious rotor wash sound in the background).
