There's also one thing that could be done about the Norwegian F-104G.

It could carry BL-755 in tandem, giving it 4 bombs. This would be much better than the crap loadout we have atm.

Here's a picture of a german Jabo F-104G:

By the way Xeno, since Intruders has already carried up to 22 Mk82 in operation why not give USA a carpet bomber with the A-6 ?

That's not tandem, that's side-by-side. This is tandem loading.

Because I was keeping the A-6 as the Navy's "light" bomber, while the A-7 did the heavy bombing.

And still no KAB-1500? Totally not fair.
Also, as I said, Kh-29D(or TD, as it usually mentioned) probably was a thing, not serial, trough. But not with IIR homing as in game, just improved TV.

Okay.

If I may, doesn't US lacks a bomber being able to bomb a large zone ? (Like an Su-24) So wouldn't the A-7 with a bit fewer Mk.83 be more suited to being the light bomber an the Intruder be more suited to be a carpet bomber with the 22 Mk.82 SE as the A-7 cannot use that many bombs. Heavy bomb load (with relativly big bombs) is already achieved by F-16C and F-111E. That would still give a marine deck an heavy bomber and a light one, but it would add to the US deck a large area bomber.

Who needs guidance when you have 3000kgs of splash!? Onboard weaponsystem of glorious design plus pair of FAB 1500 airborne containers of socialism will prove entirely sufficient. PGMs are for uninspired wage slave capitalist aviators.
Projectnordic in game! will likely see you on pact/red dragons/french!

It's 100% unnecessary. The USSR doesn't need fancy PGMs to deliver massive amounts of pain from the air.

If it is a thing, it's likely a post-Soviet missile that nobody bought, probably dating to the late 90's. I recall asking ikalugin about it and he'd never heard anything about that missile outside of some Western sites. Which makes me think even more that it wasn't a thing.

It has the F-111E. Also, you'll notice the Su-24M doesn't have that massive bomb load anymore...

According to the A-7D manual, 24 Mk-82s was the maximum with a reduced internal fuel load. This image is of the later A-7E.

Honestly, if a large area bomber is needed, give the F-111E CBU-75/Bs and make them HE weapons...

Incidentally, I never got your A-6 link to work.

I've hit the character limit (60k) for the OP, so I've had to split up my post. Since I neglected to make any reserve posts, I've repurposed my first response into part two and added a link to that post.

Typo in J-8II description. It should be 1992. ;)
