This would make more sense if Heli's could be targeted only when stationary, IMO. Or, at low speeds, but wargame doesn't let you control movement speed anyway.

Can we prevent the Lahti from firing within a certain range against helicopters? Like prevent it from aiming upwards past a certain elevation? Give it a longer aim time to simulate setting it up and preparing the operator's shoulder to withstand the metric fuckton of recoil it will receive.

You can give elevation restrictions and many units have them, like tanks.

It's not going to be winning vs a Yak-B but it can sort of fight off an Mi-2 or something

Maybe if every Finnish Milta squad consist of some Shaq looking bastard that can aim that huge ass rifle 60° up in the air, take the recoil and hit every other other shot every ~2.22 seconds.

Then you have me on board. The gun (cannon really) is more than three times heavier than an M82.

So none of the other 4 dudes can carry a tripod? Or a log?

Besides, at range you don't need to be standing because there's not much of a difference in between the target and the horizon, so that's a terrible argument.

Give it a deadzone if it's so important to you.
If there's two kinds of players, those that like challenges and those that want a fair game, pubstomps should make everyone happy.

It's his thread, he can necro it if he wants to. There's no point in him creating a new thread about the Lahti when there's one right here.

While it's useless it's at least interesting. Most reservists are useless and boring.
What if Wargame stuck to timeframe?

Fair enough, but what exactly is there to do about it? At 5 CP it is probably too good, and at 10 CP it is essentially useless.

595m anti-helo range like the rest of the Anti-Materiel rifles. Now it's useless and really interesting.

We can't have the squad chop half a tree to set it up in AA position before engaging choppers.

Use a grande or explosives, or just the 20mm. No need to chop.
