Yeah, ok, but BV-55 doesn't have all of that. Manual pages 8-9-10-11 outline exactly what Azazel wrote.
The bit I highlighted sounds just the same - minor values are adjusted before firing. Compare the terminals -

The M21 switchboard on the M60A3 is much the same although it has separate inputs for APDS/HEP/HEAT (there are presets for specific rounds). The M1 also has manual inputs for barrel wear, temp, air pressure etc. Note that a 'wind sensor' is literally a hot piece of wire. Stabilisers aren't much more sophisticated, and they've been around for decades.
TL/DR: Modern MBTs are more or less the same, training and tactics are far more important.
