CAT-LCV aka the LAV-75

It was part of the lightweight RDF-LT program in the early 80's

It uses the 75mm ARES rapid fire cannon and this version mounts two quad stinger pods.

Basically it would have been an IR Otomatic with stingers.

It didn't have an AA FCS tho. It was basically a fancier M6 linebacker.

Weren't they planning one? I thought that was the pitch they were going for, been a while since I've read about it.

Apparently Ares also produced a 90mm autocannon Gavin if I'm reading that right. Wouldn't it be nice.
