I'm not talking about navies (ships/ASM are common to faction, anyway).

I'm talking being unable to take any of the nation's units in landing craft. As in, you can't even take Yugo naval infantry in landing craft. This is pretty clearly a bug/oversight.

Which landing craft would you like to see? They have access to amphibious OT-variant transports as is.

Landing barges that most other RED units use. Do you play mixed land/sea maps? If you take land units from naval tab, they come in landing craft. I.e. your infantry will be inside an APC that will be inside a landing barge.

Starting about 1:10 in this video, you can see BLUFOR landing craft and them deploying APCs

As much as I see naval as pure cancer, adding the amphib units to the naval tab wouldn't hurt anything.

Think you have what it takes to enlist into the military? You sure about that?

So, naval spawns without any naval units, just light landing craft for vehilces? That might be interesting but it's hardly a game changer either. I'm sympathetic to this. I feel like naval minus anything that isn't a riverine support craft/LCU would be very interesting.

It is indeed an omission which shall be fixed in a next patch.

Great to hear, thanks!

Also great job on putting out the DLCs, I started playing again after Israel/Yugo/Finns were released ;)

Good to hear.

Going to be nice to get them since occasional mixed map with landfalls to enemy unguarded flanks are fun even tho most matches are played on 100% land... And considering it does not really need new units, just little modifications to unit listings I guess.

(Kind of happy this is done in next patch as its not all that critical, instead of "oh wait we noticed this needs to be done, lets delay dlc and make everyone wait. Aka You people did right call, even in case if it ended up being unintentional. ;) )

Of course we could beg for some units.. but then again naval tab units are kinda rarely used so would not nessessarily be good idea to spend much time on those at moment.
Also I think Finlands 10(?) man Spike-ER antiship squads that are trained with intention of causing crits on ships are little ootf in year when they started training standard conscripts to also do that job. (Spike-ER being that version that ir has its range marked as about 3,2 times longer than range of Spike-MR)
And those would most likely be only unit we really would in our semiwetpowergamerdreams to see. (and yeah not mainly to be used against ships... and mainly becouse it would be op as heck even if range was cut to somewhat working in gameplay terms) ;)
So maybe yeah no to begging any real new units. Just flagging part of stuff will be good. :D

They need to add naval units from Yugoslavia like:

Frigates- Koni and Kotor class
Guided Missile Gunboats-Končar class
And a prototype Kralj-class( It was build in Croatian shipyard as a JNA Navy project and it got ready during the war and its used by Croatian Navy)

Not really.

1. I kinda like ships (well, using them on mixed maps - pure Naval gets boring quickly), but evidently many/most players don't.

2. Israel, Netherlands, and other new nations didn't get ships.

3. In fact, IIRC there had been no new ships introduced for a very long time.

4. The ships you listed would offer nothing particularly new or unique. Maybe an ASM coaster (with 1 weak ASM) could be interesting, but more mediocre ASM Escorts?
No reason to have them, they would either be lame and not used, or be cool and break naval balance (such as it is) in favor of REDFOR.

It will be cool to have Yugo/Finn infantry and light tanks for amphib landings once that's patched, especially for people who play national decks.
