Do you understand that with 600 km/h galeb becomes plane just for 1 flight? That's why all planes with low speeds are useless crap, because even huge ECM won't save them.

CMW where Kahu is used, has two viable SEAD planes.
Entente has 0 viable SEAD, no one would ever fill up one airtab slot with the SU-7.

I fail to see how that justifies an unrealistic Super Galeb.

In this case ECM would have to go up, which can be justified with Italian Jammers iirc turn radius drop to NPLM G-4 level which is 200 (I think).

Except ECM is dependent on the quality of the counter-measures as well as their date of entry, and as such 40% ECM for a glorified trainer is absolutely ludicrous.

I do agree with this :D I think 90% of the stuff in WGRD is overmodeled.

Back on topic, SG and Orao/Orao II are mud fighters, they fly low and at low altitude they reach top speed pretty easy. These planes are designed to attack at low altitude. I think HrcAk47 posted a youtube line with MIG-29s and Orao flying at the same speed at low altitude. However, the game does not design pattern of various missions (low-low-low, high-low-high etc.) hence apparently there are inconsistencies. But as WGRD is designed, no plane will fight at maximum speed, even the fastest will go to a subsonic speed or far of maximal one.

If the speed of SG/Orao is nerfed than Finnish Hawk for example which had about the same speed as Orao should be nerfed as well. Jaguar should go to 900 km/h, maybe even less, Skyhawk should be slightly buffed etc,

If this will happen than I see it like this:

Orao II -> 800 km/h
Orao I -> 750 km/h
Super Galeb -> 700 km/h

Orao (base one) is not a subsonic plane, it is trans-sonic. And consider that it was actually made for low-low-low missions (Wargame use) with it's rated speeds.

900 is not "fighter speeds". 1000 is.
