I used .NET, so you'll need windows. Wine may work, I haven't tested. Keep in mind, it takes 20-30s to start after you set the directory, parsing the WRD files is slow so don't immediately kill it in task manager. When does it crash, before or after you choose a directory? Error message?

Start up, asks me to select directory, I select it, txt file with paths gets created and immediately (literally instantly) I get the window saying "... stopped working"
After that each time I try to run it again it instantly gives me the "... stopped working" message
