Why has everyone always been so hostile on the forums?

Also, Grono '90 were nasty in the beta if I remember right. The problem later on was that the BTR-80A/90 make them so good. The heavier BTRs would trash infantry and APCs where the ATGM would make the armor go bye. BTR-60/70/80 was fine.

Since we're griping about gornos I might as well make my yearly Gorno post Too bad we don't have anything like what "Gornos" actually were ITF in the USSR/RF... If such a thing existed at all outside of the 7th Guards Mountain Air Assault Division which is you know, VDV and thus Shock! Oh darn Goddamn BTRs everywhere!? Which begs the question what the heck are the Gornos in the game because they sure aren't Motostrelki in the mountains!

The answer is actually pretty simple, make them a shock unit like legion, given their artificially range gimped Metys-M, provided with BTR-D/BMD family of transports so they impact how cheaply you can take Spetz/Veh Deh Veh...

Other options include making them helo only elite border guards spetsnaz teams that were formed to ride in Mi-24s... Or make them Motostrelki with ATGMs and give them the cornucopia of ground transportation they rightfully deserve.





But wait what about the guys that ride in Helos...? Oh right those guys.. The kind of guys you have to vet up to at least shock for any shred of authenticity.

Ka-50 Vikhr gain anti helo range, 2275m 3HE. Realism fragmentation sleeve and proximity fuse.
No price change, still weaker than Longbow and also, since vikhr has abysmal accuracy on the move, on top of that anti helo range, it doesnt help much in anti helo openers.

Mi-28 with thermobaric S-13. Lower rof.
Just add NPLM on top of it. Make it bit unique cause 10 S-13 on it is really really weak and limited for a 130pt helo
or 40 normal S-8 rockets is better
