Tanks: Reloading Times

Could someone assist?

I'd like to change the tank reloading times, is this possible?

Warsaw Pact tanks, T-64 and above have a 9-second auto loader

Whereas US crewman standard is 6 seconds.

UniteAuSol -> Modules -> WeaponHandler -> ..long way down... -> TAmmunition.
Now you're interested in TempsDeDeuxSalves, or something. It dictates how much seconds pass between two salvoes - but tank guns have salvo of 1 round, so it's basically the time between shots.

That'd mean an autoloader that reduces Pact tanks RoF to 6.6 rounds/min, :lol:

If you're going to nuke the Pact reload times to 10 seconds, you should consider looking into changing them to be unaffected by morale like the AMX-13's :)

It's not really "nuking" them if it is the real life technical spec. I agree with your statement about making their morale unaffected though.

How many ammo can store a communist auto-loader ? Cause the AMX-13's autoloader work in-game like multitubes ATGM carriers, so maybe it's a better idea to follow their examples.

I'll have to think about that.

Another question...

Is there a value for ONLY reloading or is it tied to aiming as well? The 9 seconds should only be applied to reloading, not engaging.

Fire sequence uses 4 main values :
- Aiming Time
- Number of shot per salvo
- Time between shots inside the salvo
- Time between salvo

Moral affect aiming time and time between salvo.

If the unit don't shoot for a time superior to it's time between salvo value then the salvo is reset.

So if you want to represent an autoloader I recommend you to create a weapon with a single very long salvo.

There is also the number of simulatenous shot (TirSimultanées IIRC). Very fun to play with on a MRLS.
